Hunting on Vejrø

Hunting on Vejrø is operated with respect for the island as a whole and its overall expression, as an integral part of its organic and sustainable farming.

The island has a rich and varied wildlife, much of which can be hunted. On Vejrø we arrange small-game hunting of pheasants, partridges and hares as well as trophy hunting of small deer. We also offer unique hunting license courses.

Hunts are offered as whole-day hunts and  take place under relaxed, but well organised conditions. Here, the overall experience of Vejrø’s nature and special ambience has a higher priority than large kills. A hunting event, and the island's atmosphere are best experienced in combination with an overnight stay. Hunts can be arranged for one to twelve hunters with kills of between ten and two hundred pieces of game.

A hunting experience on Vejrø can be undertaken on its own or add spice to a stay in connection with a course or a meeting. All hunts are organised in close collaboration with the Master of the Hunt.
